Rob Kearney and Keith Earls available for Ireland’s Rugby World Cup opener against Scotland

Assistant coach Andy Farrell says Rob Kearney and Keith Earls are available to Perform for Ireland in their Rugby World Cup opener.

Farrell stated full-back Kearney and center Earls”ran nicely” in practice on Wednesday and that he anticipates the duo to be all set for the Pool A opener in Yokohama on Sunday.
Kearney had suffered a issue and Earls was battling back from a thigh complaint.
“We are pleased with the way things have gone now,” said Farrell. “Rob and Keith Earls ran well, and educated well.
“There are a number of protocols which they have to visit, so that is what we will need to stick to with the medical team. But they are very satisfied.
“They are accessible, so we’ve obviously yet another session to go on Friday.
“It’s Wednesday. The game’s on Sunday, so we’re building nicely. Everyone (barring Robbie Henshaw) is available for choice.”
Ireland still expect he is going to be fit for their second Pool A game against Japan, although henshaw will miss Sunday’s Rugby World Cup opener as a result of his problem.
Farrell affirmed that Joey Carbery was fully fit, with the fly-half likely to take a chair on the bench from the Scots.
“Joey’s been training since Monday, so we’re at a good place,” said Farrell.
“Robbie will not create this weekend, they’re very happy with his progress but that he can sit this weekend and he will be available for a while. His progress has been fantastic.”
