Head-Maarek backing Enable for historic third Arc win

Famous French coach Criquette Head-Maarek will cheer Enable in her bid to win the Qatar Prix p lArc de Triomphe for a third time.
Head-Maarek saddled the Treve to lift Europes premier all-aged middle-distance race in 2013 and 2014.
Head believes Enable is the ideal horse, although treve fell short in her quest for an unprecedented hat-trick when fourth to Golden Horn at 2015.
I hope she wins and now that I will be present to see it I believe shes an amazing horse, and she deserves every thing, said Head-Maarek, who wed in February 2018 after a highly-successful career spanning almost 40 years who included a previous Arc success with Three Troikas at 1979.
If she defeats Treves listing, Ill be very happy.
Treve was defeated by Golden Horn, but it was nothing to be ashamed of. Of course that you need to win, however its very difficult for a horse to win three occasions to the Arc.
it is my hope that this year Empower are going to have the ability to execute it.
Head, currently full of respect for John Gosdens superstar, added:She has done matters Treve never ever did.
Shes travelled all over the world. She won the Breeders Cup following the Arc in America and that was.
Then shes won the King George twice. For me, she is the best horse Ive seen in years and years.
John is a wonderful trainer, and Frankie Dettori is a great jockey, therefore everything is there.
I trained for her proprietor Prince Khalid from 1979 till I retired. He.
He is a charming guy and hes so easy to take care of. He deserves to win race with Enable.
You enjoy it once you find that type of creature running. You go racing to observe the good ones and the ones, not the claimers or even the disability horse.
Racing is excellent for that, and it will be a great afternoon on Sunday.
Head-Maarek has emerged to the favourite through the field in search of potential threats, but cant observe any horse trapping the Permit celebration.
I believe that the major threat for me with all the French horses could be the (Prix du) Jockey Club winner Sottsass, but we do not know exactly his worth, she explained.
I really dont believe the Niel was a good race, quality wise. You need to beat horses .
Andre Fabre has a big lawn, and his only real runner is Waldgeist. He is very consistent and a fantastic horse. He could be in the first five or four, although he has not got Enables course. Andre knows what to do to really have a horse ready at the ideal moment.
There is, as a strong challenge that is international, naturally.
Youve got (Aidan) OBriens horses, she said.
Magical is a fantastic filly, and Japan really is a fantastic horse – but saying that, I believe the filly (Enable) is far superior than those on what Ive seen.
The Japanese horses, we dont understand them very well.
Everyone will be on the lookout for her to triumph. A record needs to be defeated. Two wins is one thing, but three is better.
Only fillies can take action, since if colts win the Arc two, they visit stud – therefore theres not any manner.
Youve got the perfect horse to do this year. For me, shes the finest of the field.
Permit will race from booth nine of the 12 runners, however, Head-Maarek considers the draw is irrelevant – especially into a horse of the skill.
I won the Arc using a horse drawn in 22. At that distance, 2400 metres, the draw does not mean anything, she said.
She is capable of waiting, able to go in front and will be capable of accomplishing lots of things. She does not need anyone.
Frankie is so good. He understands Longchamp enjoy his pocket. No one else will see , if she goes ahead.
She is that kind of horse – you can do anything with. She is really simple.
